“The team we’re playing with, for us, and what players are around him to help with the striking side of things. The team we’re playing against, of course.

“Dom’s record is pretty strong as regards to his fitness now and I think that was the biggest question mark. Some of his performances, he’s still looking for real consistency but we think he’s a very good player. Beto is learning all the time and he increases that by coming on the pitch. We know that and I think he’s been effective coming on the pitch. So the margins get tighter, quite obviously, because we want to win games, we want to score goals. Strikers are a big part of that.” – Sean Dyche on what factors he considers when choosing a striker

'The striking side of things'
'real consistency' as opposed to fake consistency

Hurry up Dan. It's getting harder to hear this lad chatting rubbish

What do I think of it? Well, we could certainly do with winning more games. I think it's a deeply flawed stat though. I mean, for a start, there was no football for 3 months, so it should say 8 months really. It also ignores the draws.

The true statistic for that so called 11 month period is 30 points from 31 games. Call that not good enough if you want, you want find me greatly defending it, but at least get the context right and don't use flawed or selective stats.

the OVERALL thing is damned his time he’s here
