That being said, as part of the latest Liverpool Waters planning submission an Odour Assessment was undertaken by someone with Odour Acuity Certification. The only place they were able to detect anything was right outside the WWTW. One of the other smells detected in similarly equal measure was rubber, this would have been related to the United Molasses site up the road and i expect what a lot of people assume is the WWTW.

Ultimately, I've no doubt there will be occassions when a smell is apparent, but this will be rare and we aren't all going to be stunk out in the stadium on match day.

Isn't that moreorless what I've said ? I've been stood outside that Royal Crest pub (used to be called the Convivial) over the years and the smell in the area would on occasion be that unpleasant you wouldn't hang around but that's just north of the ground.

Justified for who and on what basis ? My park end seat is completely unobstructed so I'll be getting no better view at BMD. The only basis for paying more is if its invested in recruiting talent that's gets us better results that I can watch.
