I’d write a letter and post it on county road before using my mobile for any form of communication from Goodison. Bliss, the only time people know to leave me alone. Told the Mrs years ago it’s the same in the Winslow, we had a genuine family emergency years ago and yes, she rang the pub!

Smaller networks seem to be better - I switched from O2 this year (never, ever got signal/data) to iD Mobile (yeah, I'd never heard of them either) and I can get data/signal more or less any time there now. Also switched my kids to Talkmobile and they get data fine as well. I've been with Vodafone and O2 and got nothing previously.
Im on O2 and I can’t even get calls once I walk down spellow lane , I’ll find myself having a pint post match and about 26 messages and notifications land . Everyone I know with the network is exactly the same .

I watch people sat by me not just messaging but having a bet or checking scores and I’m being jealous . I made up someone is asking this question because I’ve always wanted to know how someone and more accurately which ones work

I am with EE and sit in the main stand, can get signal while match is on getting score updates even though am there 😀😀 but trying to send a txt or anything out is a nightmare

O2 is abysmal for me, not only at the ground but in the surrounding area. Phone becomes a brick.

My family are on EE and get sporadic signals inside Goodison (UGS).

Will be a revelation getting a signal at BMD

You get signal when people are trickling in but when it’s full you get nothing. I’m no expert but I’d say it’s due to the amount of people and phones all in the same place so it doesn’t really matter who you’re with

That is true although some networks can handle big crowds of people better than others, due to their capacity. O2 has the smallest capacity in the country whilst EE has the largest.

On Voxi myself - can get the occasional odd call when I walk down Goodison Rd/by St Lukes but no chance of data whatsoever <30 minutes before kickoff
