He's right though.

Dyche can't control mistakes.

Well the goals against Palace and Leicester and the pen caused by Tarkowski certainly not. These were terrible IQ mistakes or miscommunications by the players.

But proper ingame management has happened against Palace, but not vs Bmouth or Leicester for example,

But then seeing things like Young covering Dan Burn lol. Was that a coaching instruction, if so absolutely terrible?

Overlapping full backs would be nice to see more often, that's true.

The amount of fast players in the squad is shocking, DCL, Ndiaye, Beto, Lindström? who else in the squad?
We seem to find slower players every season. It’s unreal. I don’t really ever remember watching Everton where it felt like we couldn’t get hold of the ball and couldn’t keep it for more than 10 seconds. Players not even capable of carrying the ball up the pitch never mind passing it

Injury ravaged? Only Isak and Botman from their strongest lineup missing wasn't it?

Only Tarkowski was playing for us out of our strongest back 4.

Standards will change when the financial backing and leadership changes.

12th, 17th, 14th, 10th - all much and muchness until real change happens.

18th? Disaster.

When the leadership changes, Dyche will be no more as his job will be done.

But we finished 12th last season with the same ownership and financial backing.

Interesting you choose the season we finished 4 sandwiched by 17th and 11th placed finishes to start assessing his performance, but give me a few mins and I’ll work it out for you.

Not interesting at all. I just feel like the first couple of seasons he was just getting his feet under the table. It really started to become 'his' team by that point. Some of the key figures for that season being Yobo, Martyn, Cahill and Bent - all Moyes signings.

For me, that's when his work was just starting to bear fruit. Was 11th our lowest place finish under him after that season?

9 seasons, 8 top half, 11th as as worst, 4th as a best. 50p reached as worst 65 as best. 60 combined in total finishes so, averaged between 6th and 7th. 6,66 all seasons combined.

Averaging 58,34p a season.

From the start of 04/05 till he left.

To avoid the mods wrath for going off topic replying in a Moyes thread…..

Yeah, we have some more players added than can do decent with the ball now Lindström, Tim, Mangala and Ndiaye.

But Donkey Doucoure has a free pass.

Pace is a big issue still, where I would have wished to have another type than Harrison, that offers a good allround package with and against the ball like Ndiaye

Who has said we’re aiming for 17th and who has said he’ll be a miracle worker if he gets us 17th this season?

I doubt anyone can aim for 17th, you try and finish as high as you can but equally just because we want to win the league doesn’t mean a squad that’s probably somewhere between 13-16th best is going to do it.
Hang on, you are on record as saying anything short of improvement on last season would be a disappointment. That's 48 points and 12th place. Why is 13-16th suddenly the target for you?
