Just laughing at the speed it was cleared by VAR. Any Sky team that's being forensically analysed for several minutes before a penalty is awarded.

It can be incredibly quick when they need it to be.

Anthony Gordon got a pen for the exact same thing last season against someone.

Of course we don’t get it now.

Gordon gets five softer pens than that every season, so does Salah etc. but they’re just ‘clever forwards’

It looks like Dom initiated the contact so hard to give that one. If he gave it on the field, I would have been upset if they overturn it. I actually think they handled it right, but they never handle it right when we are on the receiving end.

He's about to tap into an empty net, Burn is in the way of his leg nowhere near the ball. Pen all day long

They give pens and fouls for accidental clipping of ankles and feet.

Burns tried to get the ball, isn't in front of Dom, doesn't get the ball, impededing him. It's a foul.

Yeah and I agree - I'd also see how the "DCL kicked Burn's leg" angle is valid (even though I don't agree with it), but it's just extremely inconsistent with how it will be given the next time this happens.
