I had Everton radio on for the first half hour yesterday and it was so funny when Darren Griffiths said to Snodin "Keane has been really unlucky to lose his place, he's been solid and just really unlucky that every mistake he makes seems to lead to a goal".

Yeah that's called been crap Darren.

Dyche also mentioned him in his post match press conference and said Keane was really unlucky to lose his place as he feels he's had a good start to the season.

Absolutely mental.
Almost purposedly brought this up in all his interviews I've seen too (BBC, Club, Beanyman) yeah mental

Yep and commentary was the same. Just in that half hour spell I listened, Griffiths said

"Ooh nearly a poor mistake by Branthwaite, Keane would have got the groans of the crowd if it was him"

Then another comment about Branthwaite will need to sharpen up.

It was like he was making some kind of weird point that Branthwaite isn't beyond criticism and Michael Keane is getting uncalled for stick.

Griffiths is an absolute tit, does my head in with his "and the chairman would have loved this" and when there's an u21 match he cant help himself have a little dig like "shame there's such a poor crowd", it's in Southport ya tit and the football on show is usually turgid stuff under Tait.

Anyone who wants to extend the Keggers should be fired out of a cannon.

….wouldn’t surprise me if he’s offered a new deal, let’s not forget Tom Davies chose to leave despite a new contract offer.

We’re likely to need 4 CBs in the squad, I’m not seeing an obvious Academy defender coming onto the scene next season. Prepare yourself, although he’s in a decent position to leave for free if somebody wants him.

Can't stand him

Felt like they were testing the waters with the Sky interview before the game

'There's a lot to look forward to' Michael? If you mean visiting BMD as either an opposition player or as a paying customer then I guess so. Any thoughts you might have of playing in BMD in a blue shirt (which requires another contract extension next summer) need to not be entertained under any circumstance. It is long past time to part ways.

Exactly my point mate. I presume the questions would've been approved by the club somehow for an interview at FF - so to ask his thoughts of playing at BMD with him out of contract in less than 12 months was just a bit odd

I like the lad. NEA. Do I want him in the side? Absolutely not, but over the last 8 or 9 years, we've had charlatans like Delph and Williams play for us. Lads who basically hung up their boots after signing a contract with Everton. Then there's been other players who we've paid big money for who have contributed next to nothing. Keano has provided us with some good moments, some vital goals, and has even shown glimpses of form at times (couple of seasons.)

His time at Everton is coming to an end, and rightfully so, but I like him a lot more than some of the other tossers like Maupay or the above mentioned that we've had knocking around Finch Farm in recent memory.
