They've done an incredible job if you look at the old pics:

When you look at those old photos you realise it really was an eyesore before we took over. How anyone could oppose building our stadium on it to begin with, given how deserted and ugly it was in its current state, is quite literally absurd. Idiots.

Supported by a £15m grant from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority the tower and building is now close to being restored to its former splendour.

Part of the fan plaza, one of the suggested plans for the structure was as a heritage centre and cafe. However, Everton has yet to confirm whether a definite decision on what it will be used for has been made.

Has a decision on the renovated pump house been finalised on what is will be used for does anybody know?

Latest plans indicate it will be used by Castore as a hub for reapplying any kit and training wear decals that have come off.

@The binman chronicles do you know if the roof I've circled on both sides of the stands will be getting painted?

I'd have thought/hoped they were going to add a load of gravel to it like they have done with the flat roof on the Hydraulic Tower. Needs something definitely.
