Vote - DCL or BETO who should start up top

Beto up top on his own in this dreadful system Dyche plays makes no sense. At least DCL can actually hold the ball up. We looked a worse team when DCL didn't start last season.

2 goals against Tranmere reserves and he's suddenly the second coming, was the same last season when he had a good game vs league 2 doncaster.

Is it his hold up play that keeps his starting place when on his 20 game goaless run? I don`t think we can compare Beto to DCL until Beto gets a run of starts like DCL did last year when he was firing blanks.

If you're hoofing the ball up and bypassing the midfield 9 times out of 10 then it doesn't make sense to play someone who arguably has a worse first touch than Oumar Niasse. He's good at running in behind off the shoulder, we literally never play forward through balls though.

If Beto is going to start I would like it to be in a different system, not the one we've been playing for 99% of Dyches tenure so far.

I think we should give Harrison a go on the left. I recall him doing well for Leeds that side and I think we could do with getting crosses in way quicker. I don’t think Jack is playing that badly and the need to cut inside is taking away from his game.

Whether we play Beto or Dom improving the time it takes us to get the ball into the box has to help.

Is Lindstrom a right winger?

Apparently he's better suited to the middle. Do we want to make the same mistake Napoli seemed to make? Apparently he played centrally for Brondy and Frankfurt, but Napoli only give him 418 minutes/2 starts from wide positions.

I figure based on playing for the U21 he also needs minutes. And ideally, Everton need to introduce players fit, in their preferred/natural position.

With that in mind - I also think NDiaye needs to come in as a number 10 for Doucoure.

We're too light on the wings - I think we only have McNeil and Harrison as 'natural' wingers.

I'd like to see Harrison on the left, and an actual right winger like Gnonto on the right.
 

I voted Dom but only because I don’t think Beto is much good.

I don’t think Dom is either but he is better than Beto.
