What I don’t get is the obsession with Man U, hopefully he doesn’t have his heart set in them, if he does he can’t be the brightest of folks that’s for sure. Surely he realises his potential is way above them?

I've always maintained we're being played with all this, to make it look like we tried but couldn't refuse the offer. Without a takeover, which we have to assume won't be happening, do we have enough money to service debts and interest payments, and pay day to day expenses through the whole season? We didn't last season, despite sales being made then so what's changed? If the answer is no, then we could be taking as big a risk in not selling him as we would be if we did sell him. and no, Moshiri won't be "putting his hand in his pocket"

Wish I had your optimism, I can see him being sold

football 365 is an awful source though so that gives me some hope that it's not true.
