Right. Just like a silver medal represents what an athlete was capable of achieving in a positive comparison to the competition around them.
It's a good outcome for the competitors. And bronze. I'm not suggesting they dont deserve at least some praise. But - and as said earlier - gold is the currency of success.

I'm currently reading her book, you may want to read the first chapter of it as she explains how she is a woman but always preferred to dress in boys clothes as she was active as a kid and was a "tomboy". Hardly the defining factor in you labelling her a man is it...

She has a wife and is the mother of 2 girls (obviously not suggesting she is the natural mother).

I've read her book, it also blatantly shows how male she was (unwittingy).

He wife Violet is the mother of their 2 daughters by way of artificial insemination WITH CASTERS SPERM.

The FACT is 46 XY DSD is a disorder which only affects males - regardless of your viewpoint, it's just a fact. That's how I've labelled her a man.

I guess it is all relative. Their will be a multitude of athletes out there, in Paris, seeing it as the biggest success of their lives just to be there.

That is truly what the Olympics is for me, not just recognising the elite but allowing everybody to be successful in their own individual way.

If the person in last feels they have been successful, who are you to tell them they are not.

Yes Dave. Good means you’re the best in the world. Silver means your second best. Bronze means you’re third. Saying they don’t count is silly. I think things like participation trophies are a joke, but celebrating being top 3 at your craft in the world is a far cry from that. They all count.

Because sport is not relative is it?

You either win or you dont.

You either get a medal or you dont.

I dont get behind the kumbaya view of sport's participation. This is the olympics, it's not schools sports day.

I think in 10 years time people may look back on such rudimentary statements as "she has a vagina therefore she is a woman" as shameful actually.

The fact Caster was born with testicles and without a uterus is a touch more of a defining factor but I think it all boils down to the governing body growing a pair (ok poor choice of phrase) and introducing stricter controls regarding testosterone - both synthetic and natural.
