Moyes In/Out

It's understandable people are disappointed after last night, but it's still in for me. It was the right decision to rest players last night.
It wasnt. It was a derby game and we got embarrassed. I reckon anyone who thinks it was the right idea obviously doesnt have to live with the gloating and one up manship of the kopites.

Yeh it was the right decision to rest players.

God forbid they have to play a midweek game aswell as at the weekend. How on earth can professional athletes do that?

Pretty sure someone mentioned this already, but you can pay me 500 pounds a week and I will definitely run out and play every single day. ffs i'll even play 3 times a day if you asked me.

Not to disrespect Moyes. But he made a comment last night that shocked me. He said he would take 2 draws against Spurs and Liverpool, since he got 3 points he's not too disappointed. Im sorry but you just lost 3-0 against your local rivals, you gotta be more p!ssed off than that despite beating Spurs

We could have used that argument when we wanted walter smith out its not a reason to want him to stay.

Brendan Rogers

Paul Lambert

Slaven Billic

Gus Poyet

Nigel Clough

Ian Holloway

Paolo Di Canio

Chris Hughton

Nigel Pearson

I'd take any of the above right now. All would bring a bit of positivity & would be hugely appreciative of the job & traditions of the club. Not to mention that whopping £70k a week!

Disrespect him mate, no one will think any less of you. For him, he's still getting his paycheck and he's probably got the safest job other than Fergie and Arsene in the PL. He couldn't care less.

You can [Poor language removed] right off with Holloway.

There's a difference between attacking, attractive football and suicidal, gung-ho madness.

Lambert fits the bill for me.

15 zombies towing the party line. The kind of folk who say to 'get behind the team' & see anything else as not doing so, I suspect. Wanting a change is optimism. Putting up with shíte after shíte without questioning it is to wallow in misery.

No Status, No Optimism? Expect better & it just might get better.

We have about 5 defensive coaches to focus on that aspect of the game, though.

you were doing fine until you mentioned Holloway......ffs...get a grip...would you seriously have Holloway as manager of Everton FC..???

David Moyes makes Sam Allardyce look like Pep Guardiola

Note: I do not want Sam Allardyce

Mate, it was the ****ing derby. Players should be begging Moyes not to rest them, and for all we know they were. if it was any other game, there wouldn't be this much of an uproar...but it's the derby, it means more to a lot of fans than people ever care to realise.

Winning the cup is more important than the derby to me. We'll finish 8th-12th regardless. In our current situation we have to prioritise. Moyes took a chance and sadly he got burned last night. If we win on Saturday then it will have been worth it. If we lose then he'll get the criticism he deserves.

See above. What are we lacking?

Passion

Attacking Impetus

Entertainment

Enthusiasm

Holloway has the above in spades. There are far better alternatives, but I certainly would welcome him were he to join. Surely wouldn't cost more than £25k a week, either = money for the best defensive coaches to aid this part of the game.

Plenty of Kopites here I'm afraid. And yes they gloat. But one of the 3 games had to be sacrificed to a weakened team. If people's argument is that he should have rested players against Spurs, then fair enough. But he obviously thought we had a better chance against beating Spurs at Goodison than winning at Anfield. I wouldn't disagree with him on that.
