why ?? im not into knee jerk reactions,,,yes he got it wrong last night but have a reality check, we would have gone down years ago had it not been for him.

Got it wrong for 10 years at Anfield mate, i'd rather make a banner and be called a kopite than to sit through another gutless derby under Moyes

While were at it, the Everton OS is a disgrace, completly hiding last night and the main story is Kenwrong calling Moyes one of the greats.

Koff Everton

but who ?

who would want to come here , we are not a good prospect, no money for players , stadium needs investment , **** board...........the list goes on.
We could have used that argument when we wanted walter smith out its not a reason to want him to stay.

I think he made some of the worst decisions of his tenure (punz!) last night, and his conservative tactics are not enjoyable. However, I just don't think there's a possibility of another manager coming in and doing any better right now. We wouldn't be an appealing proposition to a proven manager, so we'd be taking a big risk on someone young or foreign, who would have zero cash to replace Pienaar and Drenthe when they inevitably leave. Teams with similar squads have been relegated that way.

What, like, say David Moyes when we hired him??

get a grip, he's done a good job and deserves to stay.

Past tense is significant here. Would have. Years ago. Done. "If you know your history"... what about the present and the future? Right now with Moyes the future isn't Blue.

I dunno, that's not my job. Would any of us picked Moyes when he came? And we're indubitably in a better situation than when he arrived (thanks to him I know and admit), so why wouldn't any manager below the Championship playoffs want to come here?

It's understandable people are disappointed after last night, but it's still in for me. It was the right decision to rest players last night. It's unfortunate it was against Liverpool, but Saturday in more important for the season. Losing last night doesn't change much, losing against Sunderland kills our season. Sadly we don't have the depth of squad to cope with rotation, especially at places like Anfield, but I wouldn't fancy our chances with a full team playing anyway, considering our record there. We could still finish this season top 8 and a cup final so I'm not writing Moyes off yet.

Mate, it was the ****ing derby. Players should be begging Moyes not to rest them, and for all we know they were. if it was any other game, there wouldn't be this much of an uproar...but it's the derby, it means more to a lot of fans than people ever care to realise.

Yeh it was the right decision to rest players.

God forbid they have to play a midweek game aswell as at the weekend. How on earth can professional athletes do that?
