Computer games.

Just upgraded mine aswell, put on a second watercooling system, so now my crossfire HD 9670s are now watercooled, has reduced the temps from 80/90 degrees to max 60 and made the noise go from jet engine to non existant.

Also I play Star Wars: The old republic. 2 50's in all tier 2 gear minimum.

Nice one, I've just started playing this too, enjoying it so far.

Nords, That graphics card is a bottleneck. As so many games are GPU dependent these days, you have shot yourself in the foot a bit. Beefy processor, bit gash on the GFX. It is like optioning a Ferrari, then getting cloth seats. To fully unlock the potential that system has, you need to slap in at least a GTX 560 Ti, or maybe move to one of the brand new AMD Radeon 7000 series GPU's.

(Not that the 555 is bad, per say, but your system is being held back a bit by that GPU)

Yeah, my 460 is still chewing up enough frames to keep me happy...problem is I'm getting the upgrade itch. Probably gonna' go with what I linked for Nord. I'd get the vanilla 560 if I could keep my 460 to use as a dedicated PhysX card but I wanna' put it in the bedroom PC because I use it as an HTPC and the 7800GT in it is way too loud.

Well aware bro.. Truth is, I will upgrade to a 560/ 580 once the cash flow is right... I had a strict budget at purchase.

Just traded Arkham City and Assasins Creed Revelations for Mass Effect 3 , look forward to getting in a few hours of it later , very impressed by the demo , and if its anywhere near as good as ME2 il be happy .

I think I've had every console from Master System 2 (across Sega, Nintendo, Sony & Microsoft) but have never owned a PS3. Sex Box 360 for me. Although, saying that, I've never even put CoD MW2 into the disc tray.

All I play is Pro Evo online, or if people are coming to mine before we head out to a club I get the plastic deck peripheral thingy out and DJ Hero is booted up.

I'd still call myself a gamer, but maybe not an uber gamer geek anymore.

Or no doubt the 6 series cards when Nvidia release them....

All this talk had me second guess that 555 (OEM) so I went ahead and upgraded... New specs.

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7-3820 (Quad Core, 10MB Cache) Overclocked up to 4.1GHz
Memory: 8GB Quad Channel DDR3 at 1600MHz
Hard Drive: 1TB SATA 6Gb/s (7,200RPM) 32MB Cache
Video Card: 1.25GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560 Ti

Good man, that card will serve you much better...especially if you're going down the BF3 route. I keep looking at SSD's every day but I just can't justify the price per GB and their questionable reliability.

OCZ vertex 3. Best there is currently. £280 for 240 gb, and it's extortionate. Thai floods FTL.
