The ZX with the Torsion heel: ZX5000? Front row of my "ZX Series" photo, in the middle. Silver/blue. These maybe? ZX8000 also had that heel.

thats them, with the reflector near the toe as well. I had the ones next to them as well are they zx600's with yellow stripes.

Think they were about £75 them, most I've paid to this day, got them when i was going to Oz.

The OG c/w ZX600 are up there in my favourite Adidas of all-time. I had them on at Villa Park for the semi against Sheff Wed in 86', then again on Cup Final day against The ****e. I was hoping they were my lucky charm.....

That s what I had, in fact I bought some zx's about 4 years ago that were similar (brown suede), I knew they were ringing a bell when I 1st saw them.
I have some that I haven't a clue what called ? there is an art no. on them and try as I might I just cant figure them out, will take a pic when I go up the loft.
All of mine get worn 'til they need replacing though, although Blue New Yorks I've stopped cos they seem to give me footage probs, and my forest hills are only for 'best' such as going on the pitch on Derby Day in blazing sunshine.

Yep, thems the bad boys. I've got a few different colour ways of them but the OG are the best.

Got the, FH82s as well. But hardly wear them. *resolves to give them an outing once the winter ****s off*

Post that pic up of the mystery paid. I love a good Adidas naming question. If they're ZX I'll know them straight off.

I reckon more likely a pair of them Oki whatsits. Dark Blue, silver stripes, mesh type but in 70's style, on suede on heel there is like a glittery silver rectangle with the trefoil logo in, little reflector on front as well.
I typed the art no in but got nothing, now I think of it though they had the 1st of those square barcodes that I ever saw, my phone will tell me what they are !!

got some of these

40+ years ago sneakers evolved from purely function to an intersection of art, fashion & design. If your kicks mean more to you than merely support through the concrete jungle’s daily rigors – showcase & protect with the Hupbox.

Calling them 'kicks' is ****e.

Still got 99% of my trainers in their original box.

As for them Lendl - they were in my squad of 3 circa 86/87 and nothing else got a look in (even my Trimm Trabs). Lendl Court, Harvard and ZX600 were the 3 in question.

I, too, was certain they were called simply Lendl Court. I don't remember the Indoor monicker. The closest I've got now is a pair of white/black Grand Prix, which shares the same silhouette.

As you say, they were perfect for them Tachinni bottoms. I also had them, plus the top with the zip-off sleeves, and usually wore an Adidas Lendl polo-shirt (the one with the mad square & triangle shapes across the middle). The Lendl Court also went well with an Adidas New Yorker hooded trackie top I had around the same time.

Halcyon days indeed.
