If he’s a good as everyone was making out, supposedly making them EVEN BETTER and destined for RS or Barca, then he’s massively underperformed. All gone a bit Boberto for him; initially reaped the benefits of the foundation he inherited, then ran out of ideas.

Will get a good job somewhere though.

He’s leaving the best club in the world who can do no wrong? I’m sure it won’t matter and they’ll find someone else to take them into regular champions league qualification and win trophies like De Zerbi did, after all they did absolutely brilliantly replacing McCallister Trossard Bissouma White Caicedo Cucurella. The team has just gone from strength to strength this season.

I’d like to apologise to De Zerbi for proving me wrong by not treating Brighton as a stepping stone and jumping ship as soon as a bigger club came looking. I’m sorry Roberto please become Everton manager and bring your brand of season on season improvement to us.
