Whether we stay up or go down, I’ve seen enough of this turgid, negative and ineffective football. Whoever is running the club come the end of May needs to make appointing a new manager a priority.

The players have been poor but it must be demoralising going into training every day and just being told to hoof the ball as far as you can.
