Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I've watched it now blue, there was nothing really relevant to the lithium mining that I was talking about. I learnt that Harry has a lot of cars though lol

I thought the main point being that he’s gone back to a diesel. Sales of EV’s are going nowhere but down. A chap in the pub bought a £125K electric Porsche, it lost £50K in value in the first year, he turned up last night in a petrol car…meanwhile dealers are only interested in selling new EV’s and not used ones because they haven’t a clue what’s going to happen to prices.

Your point about how the lithium is mined is absolutely the right one….sorry everyone for going on….

This is the report I watched.

I watched the video and for me it is just how we are as a people .
If it isn't hurting me then it doesn't matter .The Foreign minister just talked like all politicians -flapped his mouth and made promises "that he will never keep ".The governor said no impact other than the river but the biologist would beg to differ . Sure we need to get away from fossil fuels but this is not the way .The mayor was just bigging up her job on her watch ,wait until the construction work is completed and the locals will be out on their arses again.

That is what we do here Pete !

Getting a little bit wound up. Having a bit of Joe Banamassa to take my mind off the weekend. He may not be to everyone’s taste but you have to admit he’s a hell of a guitar player.

Nice choice. By pure coincidence I've just put Gordon Giltrap another virtuoso guitarist on the turntable.

Do you like him @fandjango ?

Safe journey tomorrow, and don't worry everything will be fine .

Hi everybody. A very successful day shopping. My friend and her sister took me to Boundary Mill - there's a few scattered around the country. It's an outlet store. OMG the bargains. I got something to wear for the wedding that I love, a hat, another dress ( just because🤣) two giant bath towels and some pasta bowls. I spent £178 but my bill said "you have saved £194" Also a coffee, cake and lunch stops.
Everything still in place for son's op. His plastic surgeon is chasing up the biopsy results which seem to have disappeared into the radiology dept and nobody is talking to each other. It is the one criticism I have of the NHS -there's no communication between departments - you have to badger them.
I was quite pleased with a point last night, given how awful we were in the first half. And of course, lovely Dom broke his recent drought. It definitely took some bottle to take that penalty.
Have a nice evening my lovelies x
That’s great that you’ve got sorted out for the wedding - both of you in a week- now that’s an achievement. Our nearest boundary mill is Colne, I love a mooch round there. I learned when my husband had cancer that you have to constantly be on their backs - I could write a book about stuff we went through to get him sorted out and luckily for me I know how the NHS works and which buttons to press. I made myself v unpopular but needs must when someone’s life is at stake. We saw both ends of the scale from exemplary care standards to downright horrific. Don’t stop badgering, or worse if you have to.

Afternoon everyone,

Good day today.

Managed to get an hour's cycle ride in at the gym which together with some yoga and abs exercises will keep me going for a bit !

Loads more exercise tomorrow ( 2 hour walk ) but don't tell @Gwladysover lol .

Then managed to cut the grass in just T shirt and shorts but it's just started chucking it down.

Enjoying a glass of vino listening to some music whilst Mrs J restocks the rescue shop.

Then Dragons Den and the Apprentice.

Have a lovely evening everyone

You must be excited too, there’s a slim chance I might go as my back is feeling so much better. I’m really undecided- scared to risk it but scared to miss out on our first 5-0 win of the season 😂😂😂.

Is it lack of charging points around the country or why are sales of EV’s going down?

It's a must win game that's for sure

Sorry to hear that your back is still giving you jip.

Ever tried yoga or Pilates?
Yes thanks I’ve tried yoga in the past but it’s only just at the stage where I can move freely. I’m doing the exercises the physio has given me with a promise to myself to recommit to regular exercise when I can as I’m sure my gym lapse has had some bearing on it. To be honest the thing that has really helped is just walking- not miles just half an hour here and there. I’m just fed up at the moment cos I can’t do my dog walking (driving there and controlling a dog whilst I pick up 💩 is a challenge - not all 3 at the same time obvs 😂) and I think I ought to start pushing myself but I’m scared of it going again. I’ll just have to try to do more and see how it goes.
