Moshiri, Kenwright and headlock girl for me. They controlled the purse strings and controlled who they allowed access to it alongside making all other key decisions for the club which produced the mess we are in now (and yes I include the stadium in that)

I went for the top 3. Kenwright who's desire for self-aggrandisement has held back the club for decades, Moshiri for his interference and lack of contingency planning for the future of the club and Usmanov for his massive ego leading to a load of stupid decisions regarding managers and players based on his opinions and those of self interested leeches like Joorabchian. Not only did we pass up a golden opportunity, but they've now royally screwed us for the forseeable future.

It all comes back to kenwright

He's the common denominator of it all. He was part of the board throughout our managed decline. He was the person who oversaw the failure of King Dock.

He is the person who turned down other potential buyers, but decided to sell to Moshiri. He remained on the board until his death, and played an active roll.

Like any disaster, loads of inter-linking events and actions have brought us to where we are.

With hindsight fans will probably say we panicked too soon with Silva.
Unfortunately the inertia created by the board and Moshiri leaping from one type of manager to another has led us to being a rudderless ship for years.

Kenwright for holding the train set too long
Moshiri for being absolutely useless with money
Benitez for starting the rot that’s led to 3 successive relegation battles
