Tbf it is always easier being the second one through. We should have said Forest have to go first before our appeal and that way we couldn't have been mugged off in the same way.

We're the big fish, though. Forest are just a yo-yo club who had one great manager. The impact is in hitting us. They are simply the fig leaf so they can say we weren't singled out.

Basically saying Forest's overspend is much bigger, but let's assume some of Everton's deduction was due to misinformation, so we'll go with 6 points here too (then reduced to 4).

So...referring to our case but GUESSING why we got 6 points, and then giving 2 points back for being polite.

The point is, they are doing all they can to ensure we don't.

They probably won’t say anything whilst there is a second charge as well, but regardless we have shown ourselves as a football club to be lacking a backbone time and time again

Agree with everyone about Everton needing to make a statement. The fans have done all they can and the club need to now stand up and say something and pronto. Our first hearing has shafted us. Both our pathetic performance and their decision. We could only appeal the process, not the facts/numbers. Appeal had to try to batter the points down from 10. Forests reps successfully avoided the penalty getting high in the first place by starting from a clean slate.

Even for us, this is utterly mad.
