Will be interesting. Personally I think finishing above Luton is our best chance of escape so part of me would take some comfort from a smaller Forest penalty as it might mean a smaller second penalty for us

Should not make a different to everton 2 charge, they should get the same or more. Why should they get a smaller penalty if a bigger breach.

You don't see the fact that Everton were allowed to write off over £200m of debt compared to Forest's 20M in the same period as Everton having a sporting advantage??
Plus the fact that Everton were warned then subsequently still found to be outside permissable debts despite spending big on players like Beto.
Forest's charge is their first charge and should therefore be treated the same as Everton's , with a warning not to do it again.

Screw the rest of them other clubs have shown true colours, have been aome fans with brains wolves, villa ect. Forest is not one wanted to go after the club before this for money, fans called us cheats, then have comes back on there knees trying to get us to join them. Whole process is everton vs the rest, the pubishment should be done on the same standard as us if lower/ bigger deduction

They shouldn’t if the breach is bigger but I am not buying the independence of this commission and the fairness of this process. The PL has dug themselves into a terrible hole and the best way out is for Forest and Everton to both survive and then a line in the sand can be drawn under it going forwards. I will be very surprised if both teams get 6 points +. I think both will get less than 6

Thwt is the point if bigger they should get higher, again if they think that 9 is to high gor psr we should have a different punishment. Is insane to think we csn get done for -12 that is a massive amount. I hope everton go after the league if this is the case and forest can a light punisment how is the first charge fair then

If Forest get away with the Johnson mitigation then it says to every other team that it’s ok to backdate transfers to cover P&S. it’ll be pandemonium.

I can’t see how Forest would have been told yet. Yes, the PL said it can be no longer than a week but they’ve shown how all over the place they are with our case.

If Forest have been told it would have to be announced and the league table adjusted accordingly.

There was no set timetable with our cases but the new rules actually state a result should be communicated in a week so if the rules were followed they should’ve found out by yesterday.

Also bear in mind we were informed of our appeal verdict a full week before the two parties announced it. So even though to be fair to everyone effected, like Luton today, it should be announced and adjusted immediately it appears it doesn’t need to be the case.

For City there are charges for breaching PSR in there.

It all comes down to PSR with the City charges. The broad thrust is that they systematically cheated PSR by fraudulently hiding off the books payments and covering them up.

So yeah there are specific breaches of PSR charged in there but you can’t separate them from the other charges because the allegation is that IF they did cheat the numbers THEN they did in fact breach PSR for those years. But you need to prove the fraud stuff first before you can prove the PSR breach. That’s why it’s taking so long to put together, it’s way more complex.
