Even with a 2nd deduction, we don't need to care about Sheffield and Burnley anymore, except for getting 6 points vs them, they look way worse than us, even with the latest bad results of EFC. Can't see them a lot of more points.

Understandable how Burnley and Sheffield United might have tried to pray for survival without spending, but accepting they would likely go down and the parachute payments would fund their clubs for a few years. Fair enough. But bloody awful for their fans. The lure of playing in the glorious PL sounds great, but they must have had a much better time last year. All that desperation then joy to get promoted just to get smacked about every week. We aren’t having any fun either obviously, god knows what would happen if we dropped. But the prize for promotion is either gambling the clubs financial future on survival by spending money you don’t have, or just closing your eyes and wait to drop back into the warmth of the Championship.

Sheffield yes, they didn't spend, but Burnley spent 100 million.
