Li Tie has been sentenced to life in prison. He has lodged an appeal on grounds his sentence is excessive (two corrupt officials were sentenced to 13 and 15 yrs - Li was not a govt official, and is arguing his sentence is unfair). Rumours are he is also attempting to retract confession which will impact the other cases. It’s highly unlikely he’ll be able to retract this confession.

I bet Masters was the one who got the lesser 13, the slime!
