Speaking solely from the Current Affairs forum perspective, I think the lads and lasses in there do a great community policing job. The forum is relatively clean of Trump bozos, curious freethinkers and the VPN brigade who either get promptly banned or run off crying about "leftist echo chambers"
Need to ramp up for election season though, already getting the first trickles of Hunter Biden Laptop enthusiasts

Given the trend in the Marvel universe .. the new superhero needs to be a female. There's no place for male heroes any more, we're all too toxic apparently. Better still, female, disabled, lesbian, vegan* preferably from a racial minority because that would appeal to everybody.

Thank you for this most important topic and poll in the spirit of democracy and community.
I voted to bring back @the sniderman and although I’m usually quiet on these subjects I feel it’s time to speak out for the good of our forum. Truth is we are Gotham City and threatened by a plethora of nasties and bullies. We need a guardian to keep us safe by distracting them away from the good citizens and ultimately getting them banned as they seem to really hate heroes with unconvincing American lexicon.
Who complains about Snidey? Who reports Snidey? Either the villains themselves or the flump for brains joyless enablers both of which now infect our threads and turn them into performative rage exercises. You only have to look at the quick exercise we done in the Deduction thread yesterday where some wry pushback turned the self righteous dars into a sulky soup of insecure ego soup. Essentially we are on the cusp of turning into the Park End where the lowest IQ dominate the others.
Listen guys as someone who as conquered Twitter I can tell you there’s lots of competition out there and forum numbers dwindle as the big social media platforms take from them. I want to see this place prevail and the way it does that is by being a sound place for discussion with decent people protected in the way the social media places can’t. That’s GOT’s competitive edge and let me tell you there’s no bigger guarantor of that than @the sniderman even if I’m indifferent to him myself.
