Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

No. I don't think they want him. I'm not sure a balding 63 Yr old fits in with the image of a leisure centre/ Spa. Even if it is to be a handyman! It does annoy me though - if you've taken the time to attend an interview the least they can do is give you an outcome.
As a bald man I must say there is no bias toward baldness here ,it is to do with genetics as lots of elder men are bald here .Shame on them if it is the reason and there is no excuse for bad manners .
They say grass does not grow on a busy street ! nor in a desert!

Morning all on this lovely day when Im finally allowed to tell you what I’ve known since Christmas Day - I’m going to be a grandma 🥰🥰 and we’re all absolutely over the moon. I’ve been desperate to tell people. I’m just wondering how many major life events my son can fit into a 6 month period - my head’s in a whirl.
Have a great day all 💙
Congratulations Val.

By the way, you can trust us to keep a secret. Just ask Anj. :)

Morning all, fine morning, moon shining, pic below doesn’t do it justice but you get the gist. Taking grandkids 3 & 4 to the Katherine of Aragon Festival at the cathedral today, I think it’s something that would appeal to your Cal @Barnfred 55. They are going out later with their other grandparents for tea and I am under instructions to make sure they don’t eat too much at dinner so a visit to their favourite pizza place is out of the question. They have asked for a meal deal from Greggs instead, they are nothing if not classy just like their Nanny lol .
Have a good day, all💙

Not really H. She was firmly in Anne Boleyn's camp. lol

Actually you are spot on, as usual. Cal would have been all over it.

If you remember I had my first one before Xmas. Don't see him as much as I would like as it's my son's baby so obviously his partner involves her Mom more which seems to happen when you the mother in law
As both Mum and MIL have experience of both sides. I think it’s only natural for a new Mum to involve her own Mum more when the baby is first born, I had more involvement with my daughters’ two at first but got more hands on with my son’s baby after a few weeks. I became the childcare when my DIL returned to work after three months. Hope you get to see more of your grandson soon, an offer of babysitting usually does the trick.;)

They may still be making their choice, but if he hasn’t got the job so rude of them not to say Thanks but No Thanks.

Hi folks. I hope you ate all OK and looking forward to this afternoon 's offering from.the mighty blues. I've done overtime this morning- same again tomorrow and I've filled up the bird feeders.
However the biggest thing I've done is book an appointment with a personal stylist to help me choose something for the wedding. I'm now even more stressed than I was 🤣🤣. I'm taking my old boss with me. Ig boss - head of our division. She's a very straight talking Yorkshire lass who will pull no punches if I look like a sack of spuds! She utterly terrified me when I used to butt heads with her as a Union rep. But in spite of all that I always thought I like you, I bet you're a good laugh on a night out. Do you ever meet people like that? Anyway she left last year and contacted me on Facebook. We've met up for lunch a few times and I'm pleased to say my judgement of her was exactly spot on. She's good company and very funny. The appointment is in March. I'll be eating dust from now until then 🤣
I had a similar experience with a woman who did the same type of job as me in a different organisation- couldn’t stand her but admired how she got things done. We ended up having to work in the same team following a merger and we got on like a house on fire! The appointment is something to look forward to x

I suppose it’s understandable really, I remember wanting my mum when I was a new mum too. That said we have a v close relationship so we’ll see how it goes.
