6 + 2 Point Deductions

Another points deduction spells relegation that’s a certainty

The club is done and so am I with football
Honestly, same. I don't even care we're in the wrong more that we're obviously some sort of sacrificial lamb whilst other teams can spunk billions away. The utter state of refereeing and VAR makes it even easier to just walk away from it.

Love to know how much we've spent on players last 3 seasons compared to how much we brought in.? This literally is about running costs and is surely affected by money out with loan fees for a stadium...makes a mockery over the principal that these p&s and ffp regulations are designed to help clubs from going bust.

Late to the party on this one, and interested to see what happens today!

However, wasn't the formula (or at least recommended) used for the original point deduction something like x amount of points for every x mil that you are over the threshold?

If we have complied with PSR numbers in 22/23 (according to Esk), and even improved on these figures making the over the threshold amount less, the surely it should not be another 10 point deduction right?

….it is odd, I’d have thought it’s a rolling process where one season is assessed each year. I don’t pretend to understand why all of this is being accounted within the space of a few months.

Being found guilty twice is one thing but to have 2 points deduction impacting one season doesn’t seem right.

What a fckn mess we are.
We managed to drag last season's breach into this season, which is why we'll get done twice. In one way it worked as we avoided relegation. Whether we do that again this season remains to be seen.

This finally kills us I think. The further uncertainty it creates is devastating for the takeover. If 777 falls through now no one fills the void and we go into administration before the season is out

Even if we survive how are we ever going to pass one of these things. Anyone worth their salt will be sold and not suitably replaced and we will be canon fodder next season.

Going into administration would wipe all the debt. So if we get hit with another massive points deduction then genuinely we’d be better off in the long run going into administration and sticking two fingers up to all the crooks that are waiting on loan repayments from us.
