News of Ex Players



Joe Anderson yesterday backing up my “ he’s a warrior” statement . Sadly all his best moments for us were with the u21s, just not talented enough to progress further . One of my favourite memories is of him running 30 yards into an altercation to stand up to the big forward threateni g our player. He got booked for his troubles, which was fair as he was on the bench at the time!

Reading about Isaac Price in the Athletic. That was a tough decision to go to Liege but it seems to be working out.

Who knows, with the 777 connection he could be transferred back.

One of our most talented youngsters last season, but was always unlikely to be pitched into a relegation fight ahead of more experienced players. I’m not entirely convinced by his “ if it was my choice, I’d never have left Everton.“ He ran his contract down all season when there was a new contract on offer , giving him the opportunity for a good deal elsewhere. Thats football 🤷‍♂️. Good luck to him.

TBF, he probably left it till the last opportunity for Everton to play him. If Ild been him Ild have wanted to know if I figured in first team plans. Otherwise Ild want to leave - and going on a free helps that. The lad's not an Evertonian by birth or choice so he had to do right by himself.

Ild be interested to know just how good he is now.
