ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I thought that Geoff Shreeves was severe and bang out of order myself...

Ba Ha Ha Ha!

It's been far to long that reporters let him off the hook, failing to ask relevant questions. I don't think it's the last time it will happen either, Dalglish has spent the last year being a funny arse with reporters, he reaped what he had sowed yesterday and long may it continue - oh wait, LFC have a media blackout so it can't, until they should have had a dozen penalties next game.

I heard second hand that Aldo on Radio City pre-emptively suggested that Evra would refuse to shake Suarez hand and made a big deal of it, then when it was the other way round said the media would now blow it all out of proportion and that the matter was over and everyone should just get on with things, is all that true? Either way, what a Richard Head.

Funny how that all associated with LFC insist that the matter is done with, has dragged on for to long and needs to be put to bed, yet most stilll fail to criticise that it would have been old news had LFC apologised at any point in the last three months.

Must say I did enjoy yesterday, Liverpool losing, Everton winning & more besides. Best of all perhaps was the moment I encountered 3 Liverpool "fans" (using the term loosely as it was 5 minutes to kick off at OT & they were nowhere near their usual pub TV screen). The conversation amongst them went something like:

"Have you heard the line-up... I really rate that Henderson (inner snigger here). He's got a big engine on him"

(Me) - walking by "Won't make any difference"

(one of them) - instead of the more normal "what do you mean" I got the Kopite angry self-righteous glare..

Walks out with head held high, that glow of assurance that LFC were about to get a bit of a lesson..(& more besides)

a- very severe

and

b- bang out of order

well done chum (y)

The thing with them is they make good people turn into utter divs.

I've a close mate who is a red and he's spent all morning defending Suarez on Twitter, sending Collymore alleged facts. Basically making a nob of himself.

In real life he's awesome, funny and a nice guy. Weird how that club can turn people.

I'm seething here. Can't calm down at all and have fired off emails of complaint to Sky News following their 8.20am sports broadcast and The Mail on Sunday for Patrick Collins slur on Kenny.

The club need to sieze the agenda here by doing a number of things;

- news conference where Kenny, Suarez, Gerrard and Henry are all there stating the facts about the October incident. No questions just lay it right out what happened and why Suarez has been wronged.
- Glen Johnson needs to take legal action against this Martin Gavry or whatever his name is.
- Offical complaint to the FA about the actions of Manchester United players in the dressing room area.
- Offical complaint to Sky Sports and the FA about the actions of Shreeves and the cameraman during the postmatch interview.
- Complaint to Sky Sports about their studio guests yesterday, there was no balance at all and it allowed an agenda to spin.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

The " kids" hear worse abuse from the stands, what with the feigning of injuries and fake card waving, the ungentlemanly conduct is not reduced to the players.

There is NO moral high ground on this issue, it's not just Suarez here although he needs to be spanked in public and have his manager and club brought before a FA charge utter contempt.

The finger, the racism the eye gouge, kick to the gut.

He needs to be taken out and shot.
