Indeed, and there’s a reason for that. They’re absolutely rubbish.

this all conquering Luton team have 15 points from 19 games. The last game they won due to 2 own goals. Their effort and attitude is commendable but the sheer lack of Premier league talent is clear. Think Burnley still might finish above them personally.

Are we not also ?

You forget that this team is also crap, yes we had a good 1st half of the season which inflated our points total with the freak winning run but this is the same team that had us at the bottom at the end of last season and for the 1st 7 or 8 games of this season.

That winning run has massively massively raised expectations miles above where they should be... these players will not become world beaters in the space of 3 months, if ever!

Fortunate that our relegation rivals also lost.
That luck will run out soon.

I sense Burnley are getting their stability in this league and Luton will win more games in the second half of the season than they have first half, for sure.

Wake up everyone - this is a dire situation and we better recognise it instead of sleep walking about mumbling pathetically that "If it wasn't for the deductions we'd be on 26 points, lad". Its true, but it's corrosive to us right now. Forget about those points - and they're not coming back to us...any of them.

Brentford aren’t getting any stability with 7 losses out of 8 and a very tough run of games coming up, they’re getting worse by the week. If Toney doesn’t come back in top form or goes to Arsenal, they’ll definitely be in the mix.

You can't come on this thread and speak sense and use logic.

Luton’s little purple patch will end soon
Burnley will have the best chance of getting out of it IMO.

We will be just fine, the performances have been pretty consistent up until yesterday when the manager got it completely wrong.

We look at the table now and looks scary but we will pull away from trash below us.

Good time for a bit of a let up in the schedule. Yesterday was the worst performance since August and lacking in every area.

We can't have too many games like this
Hopefully he has learnt a fair bit from yesterdays game and we never see a performance like that again this season but we do know that Dyche has that in him, and he still loves to get Keane in when he can which will always be a bit of a red flag with many. We have a rest which is good as the players look dead on their feet and I think it gives him some time to work on our running/closing down much of which is a wasted use of energy and contributing to tired players. We need to let the ball do a bit more of the work and press when the time is appropriate instead running about like headless chickens a lot of the time. Hopefully yesterday was a blip.
