Agree mate,Class showed in the end. We shouldn’t be too downhearted after that performance. I honestly think someone is going to get walloped by us soon
You must have watched a different game to meAwful performance truth be told. Poor in possession and like the home game vs Arsenal, showed them far too much respect. No Diaz, Stones, De Bryune or Haaland and Everton set up like they were a Sunday league side having dominated Tottenham away for large periods at the weekend.
Big fan of Dyche but this is the regulation performance at home versus City and Arsenal.
That little bubble we had has burst hasn't it .
I’m more comfortable with Keane playing midfield. He’s got a good pass on him and a thunderous shot, and less likely to make an error leading to a goal. You have to question some of the subs. Why bring a defender on for someone who was playing just behind the centre forward, just after conceding? Why take off Harrison who seemed the most dangerous in their area. Why not have 2 attackers on to play off each other?
Ref was also inconsistent. Willing to dish out yellows to us for nothing, but really didn't want to for City. Pen was soft but it is the rule, but had branthwaite not been booked prior, he'd throw Silva to the ground, preventing the goal. Another day with another ref, we could have got a point or more, but the inconsistency with reffing is shocking.
City in the worst run of form they've been in for donkeys and they've turned up to Goodison and brushed us aside.. again. It bores me tbh. Some utter ball bags on here, we lost to the best team in the world and had a go at them until the pen, they were always going to step it up from there. Get behind the team ffs.
It wasn’t piss easy, the defender was right on his back, he had a split second to get a shot off and the pressure forced it wideDCL missing a piss easy chance didn't help like.
I’m guessing last season but I don’t think we’ve had many! When did we last get awarded a penalty?
