The point is though that Stones has got unnecessarily hurt due to the failure to blow.

But it wasn’t obvious, it was marginal. And the linesman was actually behind the furthest back City player so it probably looked on to him.

I hope it’s not serious but injuries happen and it was a fairly innocuous challenge. But had Beto been a a few centimetres further back, it’s onside and still happens.

Yep. He's less flamboyant Stones was - who was class for sure, but Branthwaite gives the impression of being more experienced than he actually is. Very composed, makes great decisions and has real ability
