2023/24 Beto

He come on, got a goal ( something that dcl looks incapable of doing ) took the game to pens, set us up with a strong start on pens, what more do you want from the feller he's not ronaldo
After we scored only one team was winning it and that was Fulham, he couldn’t keep hold of the ball to take the pressure off the back 4 and midfield. Just kept coming back and forced us back for them last 10/15mins

Perhaps because all we did was hoof it long to him. He isn’t dominant in the air and wants the ball to feet. As soon as we stop treating every player like they play exactly the same way as DCL then maybe we might actually have some success with the strikers we buy.

That’s down to the manager and his tactics

This recognition that Beto is our best bet to start with has been apparent since the end of the Newcastle game.

Dyche needs to look at himself and his loyalty to DCL.
Yeah should of started against Fulham if not the game before, something is a bit off with DCL currently he just isn't quite himself, needs resolving

It is. But it is a running theme throughout the club despite the manager. How many games did we watch under Lampard/Dyche of the ball being hoofed up to Maupay?
Lampard tried to play more football than dyche, put we didn’t have enough players to play that system. We’re probably somewhere in the middle of the two
