Lad worries me in defense. Going forward he is okay, but I would like to see us improve upon him given the age of Coleman and Young.

Genuinely don’t have time to wait and see on if he will progress as he ages.

Some good some bad, great delivery couple of occasions, got beat a couple times. Last two starts we’ve kept clean sheets. Would like him to get a run of games, talent there for sure.

Well that's unfortunate for you, because we don't have a penny to spend and we have old age pensioners as our other full backs.

People like this, and ironically davek as he's even worse, would've had absolutely no time for the development of Coleman when he first came in, ironically, as he started quite slowly and was quite error prone.

20 year old comes in, isn't babysat and shielded/doubled like Young is, does well, should've had an assist, clean sheet defensively - reaction is naturally to say he's doing crap and not good enough for some reason. Makes sense.

Yes well, you are absolutely correct. I suppose it cannot all be positive. This still is Everton yes?
Of course it can be positive, Patterson is playing very well when he has his opportunities. If you think a winger isn't allowed to get past a full back a couple of times a match then you need your head examining. McNeil beat his man a few times tonight, but I thought he was their motm.
