You've been given one above: the three games we've just won on the spin has seen him come on as sub. If you can help it you don't change that around.

Trust Dyche. He knows what Patterson is capable of and what he's not capable of more than you.
As its been pointed out though one of them he wasn't neat the defence and yesterday Patterson played more minutes

Wherever you fall on Patterson’s potential one thing everyone can agree on is a settled side playing like we are now is the ideal situation for any young player to come into & get the experience he needs.

It’s on him to keep listening to whatever Dyche is telling him, take the spot & hold it. Like the other lads around his age are doing.
Yes this is definitely where you can allow a younger player to come in when we have some cohesion in the team and don’t look like we’ve just been thrown together Dyche needs a lot of credit for this. Hopefully Patterson gets another chance to start and takes it.

He should start at RB if Coleman is injured - end off .......
It's inevitable he'll start against Burnley.

He has to focus from gun to tape. No more clocking off near the end of a game, no more getting caught upfield and jogging back after counter attacks.

He has a chance to claim the jersey if he's good enough.

There should have been a calm head looking through the lower leagues for a player with lots of potential coming through. We got Baines and Coleman from that source and we've spent way too much cash spending out on tat.

Moyes would have had that RB position boxed off.
We got Nathan from the lower leagues played great when he came on Sunday.Premier league star in the making.Just look at Mykolenko progress this season takes time.Davek you're better than this.Leave the lad alone.

Let's get it straight shall we - this lad has done f.a. yet.

If others wish to praise him to the high heavens for the 3 or 4 appearances he hasn't made a complete bollocks of it then so be it.

He's been a bit part player here so far.

Sorry if that runs counter to the narrative of his weirdly-slavish fan boys, but that's the reality.
Apology accepted.

Nathan Patterson’s first half by numbers vs. Burnley:

27 touches
4/5 ground duels won
3/3 tackles won
2 clearances
1 key pass
1 big chance created

Good lad
He had that one shaky moment when he tried to be too cute on the ball and cut into the attacker but we will be much better in the long run if he improves like Myko. I see the potential. Just has to cut certain things out and he will be good
