….Everton Red Triangle. Built in 1848 as a Drill Hall by the War Office, it housed the 9th Battalion Liverpool Regiment before they were sent to the Western Front in 1914. I lived a few hundred yards away, walked past that building every day going to secondary school and even to Goodison with no understanding of its history;

@Chico was always causing trouble there lol - good piano there too I sent some old photos to my brother once of Liverpool 14 & the house next door to his sons had slight bomb damage from the war - that photo is horrific really -

When we had bad winters I was on my motorbike - I saw cars with a small circle of snow removed on the windscreen & they were driving on the road
