Not sure that's the case mate - it seems to be a narrative that has just crept in based on them getting a point vs a below par Liverpool, and Ally McCoist saying it last night on Amazon.

From their 9 points, 5 have been at home. This is home form this season;

I was more alluding to the fact that they will give you a game and won't go down without a fight but obviously the stats are there for everyone see....Good god look at our home form,That's gives me the willies looking at that.

Luton don't have a lot of quality but they have a lot of grit and determination. I think they will manage to maintain that throughout too as they have a squad of players who have things to prove to either keep their position in the side or get a move back to the PL in the summer. They are far more determined and hard working than the Burnley/SU sides. I think they'll likely finish 19th with SU finishing bottom. Burnley are the side that have the most quality and I think they'll be a bit like Bournemouth where at one point it will click and they'll go on a little run. Our game against them is quite big as beating them affirms our position of being a mid table side and not one that should really be battling to stay up.
Hope not they do seem to stick with that style of trying to pass out from the back, like what we had with lampard but did not havr the quality to do in this league. I still would no be shocked if he is the next manager to go

Seven sides in Premier League history who had seven or fewer points from the first 15 games of a campaign were all relegated. So could do with getting a result tomorrow. Or do we not fall into that statistic as we have accrued 17 points already but got 10 points taken of us 🤔

They have a couple of players off to AFCON and hopefully that disrupts them. But maybe the real optimism for us is that they've played their best games at home against quality teams when they get pressed back and just break on them.

Apart from Barkley they have no player capable of being creative when other teams go there to hand them the dilemma of breaking them down.

The latter.

Is a strange one we could go on a run and get more points than the rest or we could get points added back on. Still feels like a false position as we don't really have any ideas what will happen

We don't need to "go on a run" we just need to continue as we've started.
We have 'won' 17 points from 14 games. That is not relegation form.

Mentally its easier to brace for a fight and with the appeal outcome months away, I just think things are going to remain tight. We have to improve our home form.

I remain confident we'll outpoint our relegation rivals to the degree necessary even if the points deduction remains in place but with Everton, its never going to be comfortable, is it?

We'll still be in a fight and still looking over our shoulders in April. Without some of the stolen points back, we'll be still in it well past the 30-game mark.

I’ve always been confident. Not based on anything other than how farcical and ridiculous the actual punishment was in the first place and that it can’t possibly be justified in any way shape or form.

It is farcical. Just have no faith that they'll do the right thing, cause it's Everton.

Barkley is huge for Luton’s chances - he was great last night and has been for a bit, but can he keep it going? If teams shut him down then they are in bother.

Likeiwse, if he’s injured they may struggle - everything attacking went through him.

Think Sheff United and Burnley are toast.

Any team up to Brighton is still in our mini-league and who we need to take points off - if we can nick a few from the top 7 then all the better, starting with the horse punchers tomorrow.

We need to get a grip of our home form, but if we keep fighting and battling, and take a couple more of our chances, we should be ok, regardless of the corrupt premier league not giving us our points back, which they absolutely should.

The disgusting thing is that after what we’ve been through the last few seasons, this is the season, according to our form, that we should be sitting comfortably in mid table and relegation should be far from our minds, but we’re Everton and can’t have nice things!

We shall not be moved - Up the corrupt premier league fighting Toffees!

If Newcastle and Chelsea beat us, or even draw (likely tbh) and then iBurnley beat us at their place, were really deep in it.

Then after Fulham, if were still breathing were away to Spurs and then play City.

We will know a LOT more in a month.
