If we can win on Thursday then we could be out of the bottom 3 given other clubs fixtures take place before ours and the opposition they are facing.
Luton home to Arsenal and Sheff U home to Liverpool with Burnley away to Wolves…could be a pivotal moment for our fightback against the 10 point deduction.

keep doing our own thing game by game

these are tough these next fixtures

would be thrilled with results

we’re still better then teams i know we are

I'm calling it now. If Luton Town get ANYTHING at all out of the next two, this battle is going to be way harder than many expect.

It'd be like Arteta and co to go there and play with all the conviction of Kai Havertz in gloves in the cold. I don't see them upsetting City at all, but if they do then you know the gods have it in for us.

Did what? Say we'd be relegated if things didn't change?

Yes. What I didn't say was 'we are relegated'.
What did change in one week Davek? A win away? Think you will find that's 4 in 5.

You were like a doomsayer when the 10 points deduction was announced. Give up the charade and changing your mind like a bag in the wind you turnip.

There'll be no reduction of this on appeal.

This is 10 points and it'll send us through the trap door.

We've had our purple patch, other clubs will have theirs.

This is a HUGE boost to Burnley, Luton and Sheff Utd.

I think we've had a our decent period.

Our players will be knocked for six by this. The opposition will be boosted.

We've seen us in our very fortunate position of no injuries to key players get ourselves a decent number of points above the relegation zone. We won't sustain that luck with injuries. We needed that buffer of 8 points to survive.

I suspect we;'ll see form of the nature of the last two seasons from now on and the pressure bearing down on these players + the boost to the bottom three will see us relegated by a hand full of points.

Best case scenario is the below us remain terrible and we stay up by a point.

Again, can you please supply me with the evidence that I said we 'are' relegated - I believe that's the bone of contention here.

Go on @davek explain 👍
I fully expect it. It won't be unexpected to me. We could never rely on those three clubs remaining so poor. Forest underlined last year that a team can start poor then be competitive.

Basically, those 14 points we ran up before this mess was our insurance money. That's now gone and we find ourselves favourites to go down IMO.

The morale will be floored in the next few tough games if we're adrift by a few more points...and I expect that btw...and the likely injuries we'll get will see us into the Championship.

People seem to be minimising this and grasping at the straws of 3 teams defo worse off than Everton - a belief held by others outside of Everton today.

They're living in a dreamland.
