Lots of stats are pointless such as possession. And the game may have passed him by etc. but I guess the point is, he wasn’t losing the ball and putting us on the back foot. He just wasn’t up to speed off the ball.

Tbh he’s set the bar for himself now can see what he can do so just expecting it now and always have expected it the way some people go on about him. Played well recently let’s just hope the last run of games have been a bit much and comes back ready to go again.

Been superb since he returned.

I don't really think he can get much better than this and by that I mean I don't think he's technically gifted enough to be. However he looks in peak condition and is playing very well.
