yeah, it goes through some pains here...even when grown in the 90%+ shade of her orange tree.

Full sun here would dry it before it's even picked, Joey...saguaro's were falling over here of their own volition this summer:

Grown in sheltered parts of Cornwall, & harvested ....

The root zone would scorch in a pot; not much, apart from cacti, do well in pots here unless shaded. Summer here is a brutal growing environment. Just planted some broccoli in about 60% shade, it did well planting at the same time a few years ago. Tried in February last year; the result was horrible and it went to seed before it was good for picking.
