I checked his figures and I think hes spot on.

The only question is the Moshiri loan amounts and if they are technically to be repaid, but IMO hes spot on.

You haven’t checked very well then, because he’s been miles off predicting our losses over the years

No, miles off. This was rehashed a few times in recent months, but you can go back and look at his prior predictions hes posted and hes been off of actual numbers by something like 40% each year. Hes horrible bad with numbers, but good at predicting we arent good at spending, which tbf anyone could do.

Actually I guess in hindsight what he is best at is being confident and astute sounding enough to convince people hes good with numbers.
 
They own Melbourne Victory in Aus and a local podcast there did a deep dive with Paul Brown on their article on 777.



Fascinating and horrifying all at the same time.

Seen it posted on here, by a few people. And has got other things wrong like parachute payments if we went down, he’s not the gospel when It comes to finances. He just makes a lot of predictions, he’s obviously going to get a few right a long the way.

Predicted the ground build wouldn’t start until 2025 because of Covid.

I'm starting to think The Esk has a personal agenda and it's not about thinking 777 are villains who will take us down.

He keeps calling for 777 to show the world where all there money is and give us full details of there long term business plan when they haven't signed the dotted line yet. I don't think there is any business in the world that could do what he is asking.

I don't necessarilly agree with that. Look at the United takeover, both parties there have been clear on what their ambitions are and what they intend to do without going into a huge amount of detail. We've got nothing from 777 in comparison. Not even an idea as to how they are going to fund the rest of the stadium build or deal with current debt. By the time they have 'signed on the dotted line' it will be too late and we may not like the answers they eventually give.
