I watched one of the Roger Moore ones recently and there's a scene with whoever the woman was, completely resisting his advances, but he grabs her arms and forces himself on her and on to the bed. I was honestly shocked it wasn't cut or even the film banned now..

He's too old now, by the time it's in production he would be 46 at least and if they give him a 4 film deal would probably be over 60 by the time it's done, need someone mid to late 30's

Sure, an enhanced super-soldier is wiping the floor with Bond any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Absolutely killer in Hot Fuzz. The man has a sense of humor.

Anyway, do we have to do the whole Doctor Who thing where we select a James Bond who doesn't look like James Bond because that group has never been allowed to be James Bond? I think it's fine for James Bond to be a symbol of an era gone by. Which was more or less the point of casting Judi Dench as M in Goldeneye. It's OK for James Bond to be Jon Hamm, and mine humor from the whole thing.

Bourne vs Captain America?

Bourne in the first round. He's smart enough to realize that the fight going long doesn't end well, and comes out of his corner in peak Mike Tyson mode.

I don't think Captain America is smart enough to realize he has to rope-a-dope Bourne in reply.

I can understand how a lot of younger people will feel something similar to this but it would be sad to see the films cut, it's just using the old troupe that women would usually play hard to get to seem virtuous and it's not like they are on the phone calling the police afterwards.

Yes the rules of engagement have changed and simply you wouldn't get away with that approach now but I'm hoping most people understand that without having to edit old films.

James Norton or Aidan turner. But I won’t be surprised if they try and buckle to the ‘modern audience’ thing and make whoever it is half robot, ethnic minority, androgynous, sexually fluid and one legged. I think that ticks all the boxes.
