They're all defensive leaning midfielders but their positioning in defence is just brain dead.

We have none of the attributes of a “Dyche” team, certainly none of the positive ones. Passive, casual. We’re back to the half arsed pressing and non tracking of runs that were the hallmark of the Lampard era

You speak for me with that.

Livid is the word. Pickford is uttery blameless - where was the pressure on the shooter? For both goals? - and don't get me started on Garner and Danjuma. we dodged a bullet when he reneged to go to Spurs, but it looks - just like Pickford - that that bullet has ricocheted back to bite us on the arse.

Long balls are not a tactic, it's an escape route (IMO). If we could pass, we'd be slitting their throats.
