Bily signed about the same time Tevez signed for Citeh. Bily scored 8 goals, Tevez scored 43. Tevez has allegedly been docked £9million since he went awol, Bily probably took less than half that in wages the whole time he was with us.

I remember near the end of last season i was walking towards town after we had drawn a game and he'd been an unused sub. I was going to cross the road when i realised the first car sat at the traffic lights was Bily. I had my Everton shirt on and as soon as he saw it (without me doing anything) he cracked a massive smile and gave me a thumbs up. Probably one of the players who i've most wanted to be successful.

He was a model pro and i sincerely hope he revives his career and makes a big impact at Euro 2012, it couldn't happen to a nicer lad.
