If a club doesn't urgently need cash flow they will strike structured deals in exchange for a higher final fee, but the fee doesn't seem too inflated to me for a striker in today's market, and it seems unusual to me a club would take NOTHING up front.

Exactly, how does that benefit them in any way? Dont get it but great if so.
