Thought it was lampard aswellAdams was the preferred choice last summer but Saints wanted too much and so they went for Maupay.

new signing syndrome mate. They will wank themselves to death at any signing that can run on the pitch. Footballing skill is irrelevant. We will drag this out and pay nearly £20m for a £10m player... this situation smacks of the Maupay scenario last season where we had to just buy who was available and over the odds.
On the playing side, not what we need, I think alot of supporters see us signing a striker and they fall in love with whoever we sign, I remember getting stacks when we signed Maupay saying he was useless and loads were pointing out he only needed to replace Richys goals.
He was useless and again I was right, those that were wrong won`t own up because they will look stupid.
I was right then and I am again now, Adams should not be signing for EFC, wrong type of player and lacks the required qualities. Yes he will work hard, lots of our players do but I have seen teams go down every year that `work hard` but they don`t have quality to go with that and that is the type of squad Everton are in danger of building.
Not at all? lol a footballer literally playing for the club that pays him...Adams starting for Soton today. That means this transfer is a nogo. Thank the lord..
I agree. He has that value to them. Every club is entitled to maximise the value of their assets. I mean £12m is far too much for the buying club (particularly us) to pay. He just isn't worth it.I mean that's your opinion mate, but it's honestly not far off his actual market valueconsidering that Southampton would consider him to be an important player in helping them come straight back up this season it's little wonder why they'd be in no rush to accept the first bid..
Suits a Dyche team more than Maupay, hence why they want him. He's a better centre forward than Maupay on transition - he's quicker, stronger & holds the ball better. Has a better chance conversion rate than Maupay in recent seasons as well.Adams is a like for like replacement for Maupay.
Nothing more, nothing less.
He's their best striker in reality so they'd be daft not to play him, particularly as Sulemana is currently out. Already scored two goals so they need him playing..Interesting what the commentator said regarding Adams...
He said that Bournemouth came in for Adams and they`d made a bid, that is why he was left out at the start of the season becasue they thought he was off to Bournemouth but they never cam back, which doesn`t make sense if we are in for him and now he is back playing.
Such a lazy take this.Adams is a like for like replacement for Maupay.
Nothing more, nothing less.
Maybe they aren’t taking the Everton bid seriously?Interesting what the commentator said regarding Adams...

We have obviously got money. Just limited amounts.Maybe they aren’t taking the Everton bid seriously?
Let’s be honest, we’ve go not money and have have been linked with about 50 strikers this summer.
What despicable thought processes you employDon't wish injury on him really but maybe a grade two hamstring tear would be acceptable.
This guy scored 22 goals for Birmingham in the championship so clearly he knows where the net is.
This is his interview for EvertonAdams starting for Soton today. That means this transfer is a nogo. Thank the lord..
