There will be uproar if he was to play for Man U again. Imagine the boos at every ground, If I was an employee of united I would want to strike.
Its horrendous I personally know.of two cases.disgustingly, a lot of repeat offenders plead not guilty initially because they know that the case's usually fall, charges dropped etc.
this is PR suicide by united imo, regardless of him going to trial or not. as has been mentioned multiple times, all the images, voice notes, videos, whatsapp messages etc were in the public domain for all to see. everyone knows he has committed a crime, yet he is being given a second life.
I don’t think there is much difference mate. Mendy at the very least treats women abhorrently and should be snubbed by any self-respecting club. Players congratulating him should be giving their heads a massive wobble and all.I think this is a difficult decision for United, but I would really love to know what the difference is here between Greenwood and Mendy.
Loads of people are saying Greenwood must be let go and shouldnt be employed at any club in the UK even though the victim in this is going to be negatively affected by that (now that they have a kid together), and yet prominent players felt able to congratulate Mendy on him being found not guilty in two trials of multiple allegations of rape from multiple victims and very few people called for him to lose his job when he was acquitted the second time (admittedly his contract was up anyway).
But she will vote Tory. Interesting morals.![]()
Why Rachel Riley 'won’t' support Manchester United if Greenwood returns
Channel 4's Countdown co-presenter Rachel Riley has voiced her concerns over the return of Mason Greenwood to Manchester United on X (Twitter).www.thenational.scot
The recording and pictures where there for everyone to see. The CPS would throw the book at any regular Joe who did that. It stinks that he hasn't seen time, there was a chance for a) justice against a woman beating scumbag and b) a chance to set an example to young kids who look up to rats like him.
The CPS did throw the book at him; the reasons why those charges were dropped are both depressing and, if people care about the victim's wishes in a criminal trial, understandable.
