Evertonized

Player Valuation: £1m
Simply speaking, there are a lot of members on here which are claiming they will 'boycott' Everton's fantastic stadium, Goodison Park if Kenwright or 'Wrong' as some people think, has not found a buyer / left.

There are others who blame Moyes and say his tatics are 'boring', 'lacklustre' and 'staggering'.

Whilst others just simply can't afford it.

So question; if Everton sell 1 or 2 of our good players and don't bring in any 'quality' signings before the start of next season, what will you do?.

I'm not too keen on committing when they will expect us too tbh, I need it at the cheapest price but to get that I will have to commit way before this seasons end, and possibly when we could go down, if that scenario existed at the end of the early bird window then I'm not sure I'd get the s.t.
I wouldn't be able to afford the extra £150 after then.

Would you commit £550 at the start of April though ?

for the year after, on the basis of this season ?

Absolutly not mate. Wouldn't judge someone for not renewing there season ticket. What I meant was is that I'd still go to the few games I manage to get to a season, although after United at home and the ammount of bells and all round horrible atmosphere I said I wouldn't be going back for a while.

I was a blue before Kenwright was in charge, Moyes was manager or any of these players kicked a ball for the club, and I'll be here after they're all gone too.

You're missing the point by a rather large margin.

We all 'support' Everton, some of us have been going to matches for decades.

The current incarnation of Everton Football Club is being run extremely badly. What's happening on the pitch is simply a by-product of the complete inertia off it. We could have Jose Mourinho or Pep Guiadiola working under the same restrictions and with the same group of players and we'd still do just as ****.

If you have a board in place who do absolutely **** all offering nothing - a board consisting of 4 people (none of whom work full time for the club ) - a theatre impressario, a twice-bankrupt tax exile, an anonymous man who says/does/offers nothing, and an 84 year old token shareholder - and there is no money, no plan in place except a failed and failing business plan, what exactly do you expect to happen?

Pressure should be placed on the board, not the manager or the team. The manager is an easy target as he's highly visible. Kenwright and Earl are the ones who own 48% of our club who are failing to give him the tools to do his job.

Nobody is going to 'stop supporting Everton'. That's just a stupid thing to post. People may be selective with the games they attend though, because the only thing this board appears to understand is their wallets and their greed. And if the team goes down, then they are as screwed as the rest of the club and the fans. Their own greed in wanting a massive amount of money for the club is what is costing us at the moment, and they need to be told in no uncertain times that they cannot continue to want this.

Even if people 'Attend Goodison, once a blue, always a blue!', a very laudable sentiment, but I'd imagine the vast majority do so with a heavy heart. They're not doing so to support the incompetent board, that's for sure.

As I live far away I find this question quite difficult.

I fully understand people with season tickets concerns. It's a lot of money to watch god awful football.

But as I live far away I have to say I'd give everything I had to watch Everton every week. No matter how bad we were playing.

I guess that's the issue. I don't see it live every week. If I was there at all the games I might think different.

Right now though, I want to be there to support my team.

For me, Goodison's jsut not a nice place to be atm. I've been going (admittadly not regulally, but as much as possible) since I was 7. Now 22, it was only the United game this season where I thought for the first time that I just didn't want to be there. The first time I ever thought this place is just full of nasty pricks. Put me right off.

The atmosphere is terrible at Goodison. Yday, even after scoring our support was sh*t ... still gonna keep going and showing my support though, despite awful performances and crap support

If they sell a couple of good players wothout any coming in, I will assume that the money is keeping the club viable. I don't want to spend money we dont have, win a cup, get relegated and start having to pay off debt from the championship. I don't our wakeup call to come too late.

do you, tommye, take this club to be your lawful wedded wife, through richer through poorer, in sickness and in health, til death do us part?
I do.

born an evertonian,
live an evertonian,
die an evertonian.
