I also had a spell working with MCI in the US and worked a lot with Vint Cerf (see Wiki page) who people have referred to as one of the godfathers of the internet. He wasn't much special...

BTW he did wear a t-shirt to work one day that said ' IP on Everything' which I thought was extremely shocking as I had never before seen him not wear a full suit and tie.

When did you first get involved or started to use it. I first experienced it while a Telecomms design engineer in 1974/75 when it was mostly used as a way or transporting data between universities and the USA and U.K. . Wiki has quite a good history of it….

I remember getting my first desk top at work and going in early to catch up. I started watching (searching) porn (was a teenager) and my boss walks in just as a full screen pop-up comes on for “petsex.com” with an image of a man bumming a goat.
