Yeah, was wondering whether it could be true that he had a pretty decent game but is absolutely not what we need out wide. Obviously fell asleep for the goal, but so did everyone.

I think he’s really good but also being a bit over rated. He seems like just a good solid player at the moment he’s not shown that he’s a match winner or anything he’s just tidy but people seem to love him for it when other players who are just as good aren’t rated as much.

Not a right midfielder, did his best but need to get better options out wide - not the pace or trickery to play out wide. Use him in centre mid please.

Good player and his positional flexibility will be an asset this season. Hopefully stays fit.

Definitely not a wide midfield player. Doesn't have the speed for that position. He's a RB or centre mid for me, that's all. Bags of potential.

Agreed. At this point I’d rather young raw players in their right slots, rather than moving people around. Who knows, the youngsters might explode onto the scene.

Which CM are we dropping? Gana in the hope that Garner can do the same defensive work but add more ability/creativity going forward? Tough call as we know what we get with him.

He did switch off, but he was one of about 5 of our players who switched off. It was a total collective failure.
