I’d be very happy with this signing, looked very decent in the games I saw him in last season, I remember him absolutely shredding Wolves one game.

If Leeds will only loan him what then, would you just decline to take him on loan, or, would it make more sense to have his pace available to us this season ? Who knows what 12 months may bring? We may well be in a better financial position, due to investment or a take over, Leeds may well fail to get promoted, in a which case, if Gnonto is happy here, we would be in prime position to sign him permanently.

….mmm, they were our main rivals in the late 60s early 70s, to be fair we were the top sides in the country at that stage. Games against them were often more like wars than football matches. Not sure I mentioned, but I did score 2 screamers at Elland Rd in 1971 so I have mixed feelings for the place :bye:

Weirdly, in January I was in a Canary Island bar and got talking to a Leeds fan. I said how much I liked Gnonto and he said he was convinced Everton would get relegated. I thought about that bloke on the last day of the season & I imagine he thought of me. He’ll think of me again if we sign Gnonto.
