Still would like a bit more precision in the attacking third, but front to back that's a pretty good half against good opposition.

Good half. Sporting are a very good side and they’ve tested us but we’ve more than held our own. DCL just gets us up the pitch and makes such a difference to the whole side. Badly missing some quality from wide areas but hopefully McNeil and Danjuma will improve those positions. Very encouraging.

Decent performance against a good team.
Still plenty of endeavour but a little low on creativity.
Patterson, Tarkoswki, Young,Garner,Onana and DCL doing well.

Gana has improved after a poor start and Iwobi as usual showing great effort but just not really able to create anything. I think it was one good cross from all the possession he had.

Still encouraging with McNeill and Danjuma missing.
